The Dvojnice is a twin-tubed flute from the country formerly known as Yugoslavia. It exists in a variety of forms : in the Bosnia region of Yugoslavia the tubes of the dvojnice are joined for two-thirds of their length, with three fingerholes on the one pipe, and four on the other. To play the instrument, you put it to one side of your mouth, so that the pipe in your left hand receives more breath, and is therefore louder.
